Compassionate Care for Poor & Abandoned Elders
MEANS (Medical Educational and Nature Service) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to serving poor, abandoned, bedridden, disabled, and mentally ill elders. For more than 15 years, we have been providing free shelter, food, medical care, and emotional support to elders who have no one to care for them. What began as a small initiative with just four elders has grown into two elder care homes supporting over 150 inmates. Our work is driven by compassion, dignity, and a strong commitment to humane healthcare for the elderly.

Elders Care Homes
At MEANS Elders Care Homes, we provide a safe, respectful and compassionate living environment for poor, abandoned and ailing elderly people who have no one to care for them.
Medical and Health Care
We provide continuous, compassionate and affordable healthcare to poor, abandoned and ailing elders. Many of our residents suffer from chronic, age-related or life-threatening illnesses and require regular medical supervision.
Mental & General Health Care
We provide professional, confidential and compassionate healthcare services for mental and general health conditions. Our clinic supports elderly individuals, adults, children and families who require medical guidance, counselling and psychiatric care.
Activities & Programs
Our work goes beyond providing shelter and healthcare. We actively engage in community-based activities and outreach programs aimed at improving health awareness, accessibility and quality of life for the elderly and underprivileged.

MEANS provides care and shelter to poor, abandoned and destitute elderly persons who have no family support or are unable to manage daily life due to age, illness or disability. Admission is based on need, health condition and availability of space, with priority given to the most vulnerable elders.
Yes. MEANS was established specifically to support abandoned, neglected and economically poor elderly individuals. We welcome elders who are homeless, without family care, or unable to afford medical treatment, food and shelter, ensuring they live with dignity and compassion.
We support elders suffering from age-related medical conditions such as paralysis, stroke, diabetes, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, chronic illnesses, post-operative recovery needs, and mental health conditions including depression, schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders. Our services include medical care, nursing, physiotherapy and mental health support.
Families, neighbours, social workers or well-wishers can contact MEANS directly through phone, email or by visiting our care homes. Our team will assess the situation, guide you through the process and explain how we can provide care or support based on the elder’s needs.
